The Van was good but when I gave them the van back they refused to check it and give my deposit back saying they will check it tomorrow and I will have to come back for my deposit after they have checked it. So I told them thats a bad service.As I left the depot they checked and moved the van but didnt give me my deposit back.
Hired a Fiesta for 4 days in July 2018. It was clean enough although not pristine - eg inside door, shuts, etc - it seemed rushed. Not material but a bit unusual for a hire car. I would have preferred to receive a full tank and return it with a full tank, as I ended up losing a quarter tank because it's hard to return it with the same part-full level. Unfortunately I had a flat tyre within a few miles because the valve had disintegrated. Alistair came out to help and fitted the spare and took the flat away so he could get it fixed while I carried on my day. He kindly fitted the replacement tyre out of hours so I wasn't held up. I wasn't charged for the flat as it was a faulty valve rather than a puncture. The staff were really helpful, and Alistair did a great job. I would use them again.

Utterly useless unless you are in the market for a unroadworthy, unreliable rental. Was given a high mileage, rough as a badgers backside looking 10 year old ex NHS Luton Transit after booking a LWB. Had no choice but to accept as it was a weekend rental and they had nothing else left. Van failed to unlock with the clearly already damaged key the next morning at 8am and the only lock on the van was seized solid. After eventually getting a hold of their 24 hour assistance they sent out breakdown recovery which took about an hour. He wasn't able to gain access to the vehicle saying someone else needed to come out with different equipment and break into the van - the hire company telling me to then just to use the unlockable van for the rest of the weekend despite my concerns regarding any problem this would create regarding insurance. Breakdown chap then pointed out the nearside inside tyre was completely flat and the van was not carrying a spare.I gave up at this point, having spent ages finding an alternative hire at nearly double the price 50 miles away after losing hours of my time trying to get the unroadworthy lump of scrap they'd given me moving.Mumbling sorry repeatedly and giving me a refund was the best they could muster. Not interested at all in my additional expense or lost time. A small gesture would have been enough to stave off my disappointment but nope. Nothing. Not interested. This was with me being calm and rational. Perhaps shouting would have worked better?Cannot warn you off them enough. They are clearly cheap for a reason. I will never, ever use them again or let anyone I know use them either.Looking forward to their denial of events which will no doubt follow.
Helpful staff. Great value and easy. No need to rent at airport. Would recommend.
