Updated to 5 stars from four as this place just gets better and friendlier. Great cafe stop off for cyclists but remember your cash as they don't do cards. Free coffee refills hit the spot.
Superb Cafe, perfect for a cycle run from Edinburgh, the name gives it away equally nice for walking or a trip out. Lots of lovely food. Arrive early for the scones! There are cycling magazines and also books. Everyone is really nice and friendly. Sometimes if it is busy you might share your table. Well set up for groups.

An excellent cafe, catering well for the large number of cyclists who spin through Gifford, but still very welcoming for drivers and others. Really tasty filled rolls, cakes and scones - and they even sell a few essentials for cyclists (inner tubes and the like). Worth a detour...
