Superb as always. We only visit a couple of times a year and never disappoints. Had the roast beef on this occasion and was brilliant. Good ales, good service and good atmosphere.
Excellent Christmas meal with my aged parent. Decorations and ambience were very nice. Good choice on menu though I feel a little pricey unless a special occasion. Lovely location and good service. There was a problem with being charged double for coffee as they charged for the top up! Apparently they'd done this before despite calling it a top up when serving. Not so good to have this happen twice!
Lovely restaurant. Sunday roast was lovely however would have preferred it to be piping hot, felt it wasn't. But that's a personal preference. Waiter was excellent and really friendly. Prices reasonable. Will definitely be back
